DESCRIPTION

In this 5-week series, we will virtually visit Canada, Italy, England, and Japan. The series is for children 8-9 years old. The program is free and includes park admission for one child and one adult for the five Saturdays of the series, books for each country, food, and crafts.

Classical Adventures Summer Camp For Kids

CLASSICAL ADVENTURES SUMMER CAMP

DESCRIPTION

Join us for a summer of fun at the Storyland Classical Adventures Summer Camp. Kids will experience up to six weeks of literacy, STEM exploration and art activities at camp offered to children ages 5-9 years old. Children will be supervised by fully qualified and CPR trained teachers and staff. All sessions are free, and space is limited to 24 children per week. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

  • The Playzeum exhibit is located within Storyland and is open Wednesday through Sunday
  • Playzeum delivers a variety of educational options for children 2-8 years old with exhibits like our unique blocks, PVC Piping, Magnetic Trees, Tessellation Blocks, and more
  • Free choice, child-directed play allows children to ask questions, solve problems, try out new skills, and imagine any possibility – all at their own pace
  • Playzeum was conceived by education and museum professionals and is focused on nurturing young children’s creativity and problem-solving literacy, and mathematical skills through play
  • Playzeum is designed to inspire spontaneous, loose-party play – the kind of play that is critical to the development of young minds
